In the Spring of 2013 I purchased 4.6 acres in Southern California, outside of Fallbrook. At the time of purchase the property was an old Avocado grove, with MANY Avocado trees and also other fruit trees, Oranges, Tangerines, Lemons, Limes, Guava, Loquat and others. There are also the resident squirrel, rabbit, and quail populations.
While living in Fallbrook we have kept chickens for many years, which provide the dogs with a regular source of fresh eggs for their diets. With the new property the barnyard will be able to expand and include more chickens, ducks, domestic rabbits, turkeys, sheep, goats and pigs. In addition to helping contribute to the dogs diet via eggs, the ducks will also be used for herding along with the sheep and goats. Instinct testing for young pups and honing the skills of more advanced dogs will be available by appointment. Chickens, ducks, and eggs are also for sale.
In addition to "the barnyard", the new property gives the dogs even more room to run and play, hills for building muscle, space for a large training field, and an even larger variety of terrain for young pups to explore and learn to use their bodies on. Keep your eye out for updates to this page, as I will be adding more information and photos to both this and the Facility page as things progress.
