Gizmo came home to live with me at 6.5 weeks. When I first saw the litter at 4.5 weeks she was my favorite puppy. And 2 weeks later, she was still my favorite. She wasn't at the time the driviest puppy in the litter (although she still has plenty of drive), but she has a very confident attitude that just screams "look at me". Nothing phases her, every new noise is something to be investigated, jumped on, and bit. She reminds me of her dad Enzo, with the same happy go lucky but confident and tough personality. The 5 hour car ride home, in 100+ degree weather with NO AC :-(, plus the 4+ hour stop over at the Ring club, was handled with total ease. Not a single mess in the crate, and she only barked once when we stopped at the gas station and she wanted out. She has a nice gripping technique, with a combination of countering in and headshakes. Very pushy female, the type that loves to body slam and the more physical you get with her, the more she loves it. Gizmo is a total 'water rat', who will take a dip in the pool 4 or 5 times a day, just to paddle around, cool off, and get a quick drink.
Due to a lack of time from to many dogs, Gizmo has gone to live with a co-owner in S. CA who will be training/competing her in agility. She will be staying with me on occasion and I'll be "borrowing" her for the occasional competition. She will play a part in future Dantero generations.
Gizmo has now been spayed.
